UNIT: Series One - 2025
UNIT would’ve been the fifth spinoff show after Earth Defence, Olympus, After Travels and the Beginning. It was ran by Pete McTighe and Tom Shankland, the series was created by Chris Clenshaw as it was seen as a unique idea to have a Doctor Who show set in the past. David Morrissey was cast in the lead role as Peter Durrell, the Commander In Chief of UNIT in the 1980s. Daniel Mays plays Michael Cleaver, Anna Maxwell-Martin as Sandra Foley, Adam James as James Drayton and Jack Franklin as David Reid. There would be six episodes throughout written by Pete McTighe and Tom Shankland, with music being composed by David Arnold, but 80s songs being present in the end credits in a similar vein to Olympus: Insurrection (2021).
