The story sees Charley was seduced by Mary, an Arcateenian criminal, who eventually convinced her to let her into the Hub to retrieve her transporter which had been recovered in an archaeological dig and seized by Torchwood. Hal had pre-empted her, having noticed Charley’s odd behaviour, and pre-programmed it to take Mary into the Sun. His ruthlessness was another blow to the team’s trust in him.

This story would see the team investigate the Night Travellers. After travelling circuses fell out of fashion when film and cinema became popular, all that remained of the Night Travellers were lost and scattered old films of them. When the Electro reopened and one of these films was shown, two of the Night Travellers called the Ghostmaker and Pearl were freed and set about taking victims' breaths. They

attempted to free the other Travellers and succeeded. They were defeated by being filmed once again, recapturing them on celluloid, followed by Olympus exposing the film to the light and destroying them. Hal claimed, however, that they could come back if there were other old film canisters containing them. It was indicated that Hal's fears were true, as when an old film reel was opened after a father and son purchased it at a car-boot sale, Hal briefly heard a sliver of the Night Travellers' music; indicating that they were on it.

This story picks off from where the last episode ended where Hal goes to the Silurian city to negotiate peace between the Silurinas and Humans, however, due to Ambrose Northover accidentally killing Alaya

and threatening the city by reactivating the drill, Alaya's sister, Restac, decided to retaliate with war. The Olympus team destroyed the drill with an energy pulse and had the Silurian leader, Eldane, put the Silurians to sleep for another thousand years while humanity prepared for them.

And that concludes Series One of Olympus, a pretty good season on the whole and set up the new spinoff very well. The next season is Season 45 of Doctor Who until then thank you for watching and goodbye.
