August 1st
This story sees the return of UNIT where we discover Kelsey Stevenson now works for them, the episode is basically the same but the Sontaran Stratagem and the Poison Sky mixed together.
The Doctor's Daughter
By Stephen Greenhorn
August 8th
This is pretty much the same story in real life.
Turn Left
By Russell T Davies
August 15th
This story is basically the same, but here are the changes.
So this story sees what would’ve happened if Ashley never met the Doctor in ‘The Runaway Bride’, we would’ve seen different events of that story including the Doctor’s death in an alternate ending of that story. Other alternate events see alternate events for Fate Foretold where the Dome is kept over the city for longer, Century House where Yvette Fielding and her team are killed by the ghosts on national TV, the Titanic crashing into Buckingham Palace and Atmos wreaking havoc for a lot longer. We also see Ashley and her family being emigrated to a different part of the country.
The stuff with Rose is kept, but it's Holly instead.
The Stolen Earth
By Russell T Davies
August 22nd
We begin with the Doctor and Ashley walking back to the TARDIS on Earth and discussing what to do next and then suddenly the TARDIS shakes and the Doctor opens the door and there’s nothing but space, the TARDIS is in the same palace but the Earth is gone.
We then cut to the Olympus hub, and we see Hal guess that the rift may be responsible and he goes outside, Richard looks at the computer and tells Charley to look at and she says “Oh My God!”
We then cut to the UNIT base in London where we see Kelsey regains consciousness after an earthquake to find UNIT in chaos and its personnel panicking. One horrified colleague tells Kelsey to look at the sky.
In London we see Ashley’s granddad and Mother, Sylvia and Wilf, look up in the sky with Wilf certain it’s aliens and we finally see what they’re looking at, the familiar sky is gone. The sun is gone. The constellations have been replaced with strange new ones. Twenty-six new planets have appeared in the sky, Holly Tyler appears and says "Now we're in trouble." and we go into the opening credits.
After the titles we get multiple plots.
The first plot is on Earth where we see Olympus in contact with Kelsey and UNIT as they try and contact the Doctor, using the Olympus team’s power and Kelsey’s phone to get the Doctor’s number they’re able to create a signal that can reach the Doctor.
Meanwhile, the Doctor and Ashley get help from the shadow proclamation and investigate into the missing planets and the Doctor recalls that somebody tried to move Earth once before and he realises that it’s the work of the Daleks.
Back on Earth, Kelsey uses project: Indigo and gets away before any of the Daleks can kill her.
Holly's plotline is the same as Rose's where she finds Wilf and Sylvia.
The Doctor receives Earth’s signal and finds the missing planets and gets into contact with Olympus and Kelsey (who is now in her home after using indigo), the signal is later cut off and we see the Supreme Dalek tell the Doctor he will lose no matter what he does, the Doctor then
dematerialises to Earth and we then see in the Olympus base Hal using his vortex manipulator and when he’s gone Richard checks the computer and realises the Daleks have found them.
We then see the Doctor land on Earth, and the Doctor and Ashley leave the TARDIS and after a while Holly is reunited with the Doctor but a dalek appears in front of the Doctor, Holly and Ashley and we end the story with the Daleks about to exterminate the Doctor, Holly and Ashley and Richard and Charley defending the Olympus base from a Dalek.
Journey's End

August 29th
We begin with the Doctor, Holly and Ashley about to get killed by a Dalek and Hal destroying the Dalek with a ray gun and they all go into the TARDIS.
We also see Richard and Charley shoot at the Dalek but the bullets stop in mid air and Charley discovers it to be a timelock.
We then see the Doctor, Hal, Holly and Ashley in the TARDIS and suddenly the power cuts off and the TARDIS is taken by a beam to the Dalek mothership, the Doctor, Holly and Hal step outside but Ashley chooses to stay inside, the Doctor asks what they’re planning and the Dalek supreme tells him about the Osterhagen project which the Daleks explain that the twenty-seven planets form an energy pattern amplified into a "reality bomb", able to break apart the electrical forces holding everything together, down to the last atom, the Doctor is in horror and says there’s no way they could do that, but the Daleks say that they had help and the Doctor asks from who and we hear a familiar voice say “Your voice has changed Doctor, it is one of arrogance.” The Doctor slowly turns round and to his horror he sees a blue light in the distance moving towards him and we eventually see that it’s Davros.
Davros talks to the Doctor and tells him it is the greatest victory in the universe and he then presses a button on his chair and the TARDIS is dropped through the floor and starts to plummet down into a ball of Z-neutrino energy with Ashley still inside. We then see the Doctor, Holly and Hal put into a holding cell and they discuss what they can do, we then see Ashley wake up in the TARDIS and is helped up and we see the person to be Kelsey, after she used Indigo to get to the TARDIS, and
they have a little reunion and Ashley says they’ve got to help him and they work together to get the TARDIS to the mothership.
We eventually see the Doctor, Holly and Hal reach Davros and the other Daleks and the TARDIS land in the mothership and Kelsey and Ashley step out and they all work together to defeat the Daleks and move the planets back and Hal destroys the Supreme Dalek, all the planets are moved back but Davros electrocutes the machine and discover Earth is the last remaining planet and they use the TARDIS to get it back to it’s rightful place and Davros activates self-destruct and the Doctor, Ashley, Kelsey, Holly and Hal pilot Earth back home and they all celebrate.
We see the Doctor dropping Holly, Hal and Kelsey home and in the TARDIS Ashley tells her she’d like to go home and he takes her back, he stays a while and Wilf and Ashley soon say goodbye to him and he leaves in the TARDIS.

We then see the Doctor finding out the Master’s location where it’s a government research facility where they are working on a superweapon which the Master plans to use for himself, the cliffhanger to this episode is the Master destroying several key locations in the world for politics and the military and the Master proclaiming that he’s won.
One Last Life, Part Two
By Russell T Davies
1st January
We begin from the last episode where the Master now controls nearly everything and has locked up the Doctor, Ashley and Wilf. The Master would go into their cell and talk to the Doctor where
the Doctor offers to leave Earth with the Master and travel the stars to which the Master declines and whilst he’s distracted Wilf knocks the Master out and the trio escape and when they are corned by guards the Doctor uses his screwdriver and points it in the air where they teleport on the Vinvocci ship from last episode and the Master makes it clear he wants them found.
On the ship the Doctor tries to come up with some plans where he talks with Wilf and Ashley overhears, he explains that a Time Lord have thirteen regenerations and he’ll be on his last incarnation soon and after death will be death, Ashley tears up and the Doctor sees her and gives her a reassuring hug that everything will be ok.
The ship then comes under fire and the Doctor pilots it to the research facility where the Doctor jumps out of the ship and crashes through the glass ceiling and lands on the floor in pain, the Master says that it’ll be a joy to kill him.
Meanwhile Wilf and Ashley tell the Vinvocci pilots to teleport them to the research facility which they reluctantly do and it’s here where they join the Doctor, the Doctor finds the strength to stand up but he’s in terrible pain and he tells Wilf and Ashley to go back to the TARDIS which they refuse but the Doctor tells them to go back to the TARDIS again and this time they do.
The Doctor then gets his sonic screwdriver and the Master laughs and says that it won’t do anything and the Doctor says “We’ll see”, he uses it and the superweapon behind the Master explodes and throws the Doctor across the room and knocks him unconscious.
After a while, Ashley and Wilf find the Doctor as he starts to come round and they help him back to the TARDIS. They land outside Ashley’s house and the Doctor looks like he’s recovered and he tells them both that he’ll see them again as he leaves, we then see him visit Kelsey, Hal and Holly (but in 2006).
We then see Ashley and Shaun arrive at the house and we learn it’s been a couple of days since they got married and Shaun goes inside the house after they talk outside in the snow for a bit. Ashley is then reunited with the Doctor and they talk and the Doctor asks “What’s the date?” and
Ashley replies “New Year’s Day, 2010.” The Doctor smiles and says “Happy New Year,” and the two friends hug and Ashley goes inside, as she closes the door she gets a sad feeling that this will be the last time she ever sees her friend again.
The Doctor walks down the street as the snow falls, his eyes water as he knows his impending regeneration is coming. The Doctor staggers away as the pain is finally setting in. A few feet away from the TARDIS, he collapses. the Doctor struggles to his feet and he uses his last bit of strength to make it to the TARDIS. The Doctor enters the TARDIS. After tossing his coat on one of the coral structures, he notices his right hand glowing with regenerative energy. He sets the TARDIS
in flight as he circles the console. Fighting back tears, he utters: "I don't want to go..."As the words leave him, golden energy radiates from both his hands and face as he breathes heavily. Taking a deep breath, the Doctor stretches his arms out as golden energy bursts from his hands and head and his body regenerates. The regenerative energy shatters the TARDIS windows and sets the console room ablaze, destroying columns, blowing out the lights, and raining debris down from above. The Doctor's face is consumed by the regeneration energy. The Doctor closes his eyes as his facial features fade and morph into the new Doctor portrayed by Toby Jones, the TARDIS goes haywire as the Doctor tries to control it in his erratic state as the TARDIS flies towards Earth.
And that concludes Season 46 of Doctor Who, this saw Doctor Who at the peak of it’s popularity and was a very popular season. Overall the Russell T Davies era was considered as the golden age for the show with his era being immensely popular, David Tennant was considered one of, if not, the most popular Doctors of all-time next to the likes of Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker and Richard Griffiths. The next season is Olympus: Children of Earth, until then thank you for watching and goodbye.
