  The Reckoning was the Centenary Special of Doctor Who as a part of the BBC 100 celebrations and would’ve starred Sacha Dhawan as the Doctor and would’ve been written by Chris Chibnall. The BBC described the special as an "epic blockbuster special". Executive producer Matt Strevens, who joined the series alongside Chibnall, departed once production was complete. Chibnall later stated that post-production on the final special would continue into 2022 under the working title "the Centenary Special". Emily Lawrence, the visual effects editor, confirmed digital effects work was still ongoing in January 2022. Co-executive producer Nikki Wilson also left after the BBC Centenary special, after being part of the show since 2008, notably working on Olympus. Series Two of “Doctor Who: After Travels” aired from September 4th - October 9th 2022, nothing really changed from the last season. He thought that people should leave this mountain alone. He warned Ace about looking at the face of the Grey Man. He saw that the Grey Man was a proto-human and lived in a separate world that was accidentally at the top of the summit. He vowed to cut the worlds apart to save both species.   ‘Doctor Who: Cobra’ was the second special of 2022 airing on July 10th and the special starred Sacha Dhawan as the 15th Doctor and Rose Leslie as Jean Apperley. The special was written by Toby Whithouse and was directed by Damon Thomas, who directed Killing Eve and 2020’s Dracula. For the special a new companion was introduced for the special and Rose Leslie was cast as Jean Apperley, other additional characters were reintroduced in the special with Ace Bhatti playing Haresh Chandra and General Wilson returning in this special.   ‘Doctor Who: Empire’s End’ would’ve been the first special of 2022, it would’ve aired as a 60-minute episode on January 1st and the special starred Sacha Dhawan as the 15th Doctor and Emma Campbell-Jones as Gwen Finch.
